Wilderspool Causeway

NUKO Planning is retained by Riverside Estates Limited to navigate the planning process for a new flagship residential housing development on Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington.  The site overlooks a park to the south, and has excellent transport links into Warrington town centre.  

 

Initial feedback from the Council indicated the need for an alternative design approach, and NUKO Planning was able to provide advice to the Client on a preferred direction of travel, which was welcomed by the Council.  The current scheme is for 28 units spread across six stories, and work is ongoing with the LPA to demonstrate the height and massing of the proposed scheme is acceptable.  

 

Architecture by George Calver Architects.  A decision is expected from the LPA in spring / early summer 2021.
