Overview
In November 2023 Nuko planning secured planning permission for 17 units and major earth works on a disused railway embankment in Latchford warrington.
The scheme comprises of the partial removal of an existing railway embankment, and the erection of flats in its place. The remaining embankment would be supported by a strong retaining wall, that would be planted with native species to promote local biodiversity and ecology.
All 17 units have been designed with privet outdoor amenity space, cycle parking a policy complaint car parking. Communal gardens and bio-diversity improvements of the remainder of the embankment are included as part of a S.106 agreement.
